BIOGRAPHY
Formed in March 2011 by multi-instrumentalist Murihell (aka Muriel Saracino) from the ashes of Italian Gothic Metal/Hard Rock band Filthy Teens (currently located in Milan e near Turin), Madness Of Sorrow are constantly delivering high-quality music for fans of Gothic and Horror Metal, starting with their debut album Signs in 2011, which by the way led them to play in 2012 in Milan with Italian Gothic Metal icons Cadaveria, followed by Take the Children Away from the Priest in 2013, III: The Beast in 2015, N.W.O. “the beginning” in 2017 and Confessions from the Graveyard in 2018 –
After some live shows around Italy and a minitour in Europe the project takes now one step further in 2022 with 666: THE DISCIPLE, widening their music horizons and venturing on new sounds unexplored by the band in their previous releases.
2025 – The band release “The silent sovereign” a concept that follows the theme the possession and the damnation of the main character, in this new chapter Murihell becomes an antichrist, ready to rule the world throught politic ascension
For the ones who ask, music is a good mixture of Rob Zombie, Ministry, Manson and similar artists.

Tanta oscurità, tanta bellissima e sensuale oscurità. Quasi un culto della dannazione, un donarsi completamente anima e corpo alle tenebre, al mistero, verso il proibito, verso l’occulto, l’arcano e l’ignoto, divenendone il perfetto adepto, il discepolo prescelto. Un horror metal con tendenza goth e quel meraviglioso filo che separa l’occulto dal liturgico… due concetti che forse separati non lo sono mai stati.
